Parents are asked to ensure that their children do not arrive in school before 8.30am.  Children are not supervised before this time and parents are asked to sign the Home School Agreement acknowledging this.  The lunch break is between 12.00 and 1.00 for KS1 and between 12.15 and 1.15 for KS2.  Most children stay in school to eat lunch.

During the normal school week the total teaching hours are as follows:

Key Stage 1  Age 5 – 7                22.5 hours

Key Stage 2  Age 8 – 11              23.5 hours

These times include all the hours in the pupils’ school day apart from the time spent on registration, collective worship and breaks.

It is important that your child arrives in the playground in good time and before the whistle is blown at 8.40am, so that they can join their class in the line to walk in together in order to have a happy, positive start to the day.

Whole school assemblies are held on Mondays and Fridays at 2:20pm. Each class will hold a class assembly on a Friday afternoon during the academic year and parents are invited to attend.
