World Book Day

Dear Parents
We will be celebrating World Book Day on Friday 8th March. The aim of these days is to encourage our children to explore the pleasure of books and reading.
The children will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of Literacy based activities inspired by a range of different books.
To get into the spirit of World Book Day, the children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character on Friday 8th March (the staff will be dressing up too)!
We will also be having a whole school book swap on this day. Children are asked to bring in a book which they will be able to swap for a new one! The book swap does require as many good quality books as possible to be brought in, so the children can choose another book they haven’t previously read. Please bring in books as soon as possible.  It requires every child to bring in at least one book from Nursery to Year 6. The more books, the better the choice for the children!
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely
Mrs Barton, Mrs Puddephatt and Mrs Andrews
