Y5 Woodrow Final Arrangements

Dear Parents,

Woodrow is upon us! We are all looking forward to a few days away with your children and outlined below are the details for the morning of the 13th March.

Children should place their case on the coned-off yellow hatching, in the car‑park by the Reception Classroom.  The children then need to bring their rucksack up to Cherry Class instead of going to the playground and then register in Sequoia Class.  Their rucksack should contain a packed lunch, a drink, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves if chilly and indoor shoes. Children should come to school dressed ready for a day outside, wearing their outdoor shoes/walking boots.

On the trip we are being accompanied by Mrs Tucker, Mrs Lewis, Mrs Mieves and Mr Hillier. If you are providing prescription medication or special plasters for your child, please bring these up to Sequoia Class and hand them to Mrs Mieves.  Please ensure that all items are named and labelled with dosage, and where necessary forms have been completed.

Clearly named purses should be handed in to Mrs Tucker (maximum £3). Children will be able to buy items from the tuck/souvenir shop on the evening of the disco. No sweets, biscuits or other food should be sent with your child or put into their suitcase.

As a reminder, electrical appliances such as mobile phones, e-readers or game machines must NOT be brought.  Cameras are acceptable but please note, the children will be responsible for their own items (please feel free to send them in with a disposable camera if you would prefer).

If you would like to wait and wave off the coach, we will be leaving around 9.10am – please wait by the stamping shelter.

Fingers crossed for dry, sunny weather and sleep filled nights!

Yours sincerely

Mrs Higgins, Mrs Hodgson and Miss Irvine
