This week we are going to look back at Fractions. We will start by re-capping some of the work we did back in school and at the beginning of home learning.

Monday – Lesson 1

Fluency Starter Activity

Play ‘Hit the Button’ to practise one of the following: Number bonds, Doubles, Halves, Times Tables or Division Facts.

Wednesday - Lesson 3

Fluency Starter Activity

Use your counting stick to practise a different times table. If you have some dice at home, you could roll two dice and add together the numbers that they land on. Then whatever number you land on, add that multiple to your counting stick. For example, I am practising the 6 times table. I roll two dice and they land like this:

I would then think which multiple represents 11 x 6 and add 66 to my counting stick. If you don’t have any dice, you can use this link to roll two interactive dice! https://www.random.org/dice/?num=2
