The first two lessons for this week (Lesson 6 and 7) will re-cap the work that you did before Easter on Picture Graphs and Bar Graphs.

 

Monday – Lesson 6

Fluency Starter Activity

There are four questions for you to have a go at in the ‘Lesson 6 – Fluency’ document below. You could either print the questions and complete them on the sheet or you could answer the questions in your blue squared book.

Please start by looking through the powerpoint slides from w.c. 30/03/20 to remind yourself of the work you completed on bar graphs and picture graphs.

Tuesday - Lesson 7

Fluency Starter Activity

Practise your times tables by playing ‘Stone Age Stu’! You can choose a times table or a variety of times tables that you want to practise!

This is the final lesson in Chapter 10 (Picture Graphs and Bar Graphs).

To start the lesson, have a look through the powerpoint below. As part of this, there are a couple of activities that you can have a go at in your blue squared book.

Once you have completed this, please complete the ‘Mind Workout’ (p.81) and ‘Review 10’ (p.82-84) in your MNP Workbook.

Your challenge for this lesson is to create a poster which displays what you know about tables, picture graphs and bar graphs. Be as creative as you can! There are some examples below to give you some ideas!

The next three lessons for this week start a new chapter all about Money. This chapter will consolidate previous learning as well as further develop your mathematical understanding of money.
