w/c 29th June

This week we are going to continue our work on Fractions.

Monday – Lesson 11

Fluency Starter Activity

Use your counting stick to practise a different times table. If you have some dice at home, you could roll two dice and add together the numbers that they land on. Then whatever number you land on, add that multiple to your counting stick. For example, I am practising the 6 times table. I roll two dice and they land like this:

I would then think which multiple represents 11 x 6 and add 66 to my counting stick. If you don’t have any dice, you can use this link to roll two interactive dice! https://www.random.org/dice/?num=2
