Science

At Burford we aim to inspire our young scientists to investigate and develop their understanding of the world around them, linking with our school value of curiosity.

We use the Snap Science scheme of work, which places enquiry at the centre of children's learning. Children are taught using a variety of methods and lessons are as practical as possible. 

In the Spring term, Burford holds its annual STEM week. The week is a chance for children to have different learning experiences and we have been very fortunate to have worked with a range of companies and visiting speakers in order to provide an exciting and packed week!
