Mastering Number Programme
In Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, children are able to develop fluency in calculation and a flexibility with number through the support of the Mastering Number Programme. Within these sessions, children are given opportunities to clearly communicate their mathematical ideas and develop depth in understanding by becoming mathematically observant, looking for relationships and explaining their thinking.
